When? Where? Who? Why?
Musical instruments and equipements for concerts are often heavy and take a lot of space. When they want to go to a concert place or to travel, musicians need big vehicles to take their instruments with them and if they do not have big vehicles, it becomes complicated. That is why we created Concert Car. Our app allows individuals with large cars or vans and who like music to get in touch with musicians or music groups who want to get to their concert venue in exchange for tickets for their concert and/or other perks.
This app will allow musicians to find the perfect vehicle to get to their venue with all their equipement for an affordable price. The drivers will be doing a good deed and will be able to spend a nice evening, and moreover he will get in touch with people he shares the same interests with.
That is why the best aspect of this app is the social aspect. Indeed, both parties will get to meet new people who share the same interests.
For whom?
Our app will be designed for musicians so musicians will be our main target, especially young and debuting musicians who do not have the money to afford transportation for their instruments. Our app will also be designed for our drivers, who will mostly be music and concerts' lovers and people who want to help young musicians debuting. We thought that many people would love the experience of helping a debuting music band and sharing a moment with them.
What? How?
Our app will be designed as other car sharing apps but will allow musicians to say what kind of music they do in order for drivers to choose the individuals they want to drive. Musicians will have a profile on which they will be able to share what music they make or who they are. This will help the social aspect of our app, it will bring people with the same interests or music tastes, or just people who want to meet together.
It will help musicians to travel to their concerts with their instruments and devices without having to rent a van or pay more for a car sharing.
Our clients will first have to say wether they are drivers or clients. Then, they will enter what kind of music they do/listen to. Then, our algorithm will match musicians and drivers together, for the perfect car sharing experience !
Our mood board for Concert car We chose to adopt a 60's identity to appeal to the nostalgics of this period. We thought those people would love to help debuting musicians.
Our main competitors are BlaBlaCar and Trusk. We differentiate from BlaBlaCar because with each drive we offer space for musicians to bring their instruments and devices with them and we also focus much more on interpersonal relations. Besides, we offer options for drivers to choose their clients according to their feelings. Also, our clients can offer non financial reward for the drive if they want to. We differentiate from Trusk because our app will be like a social media : instead of simply paying for the ride, musicians will be able to invite their drivers to their events/concerts or to invite them to a restaurant and therefore will make some friends.
When? Where? Who? Why?
It is very often difficult for people to find an easy, effective and cheap way to go to a concert or al other musical event they want to go to. Often, festivals are in the countryside, far from any easy transportation means. We have the solution. Our service allows festival goers to find a car that goes to the same festival as them.
It can therefore be used by anyone who wants to go to a festival and is looking for a way to get there, and for people who want to offer the remaining seats of their car
It also is a way to get to know new people who have the same interests and tastes. People will not be afraid to go to a musical event alone, they will be able to meet people along the way with the same music tastes and then spend a perfect time !
For whom?
Our target is people who attend a festival or a concert. We won't focus on a specific age or job, as fans of a certain kind of music will be very diverse. However, as one of the outcome would be a cheaper travel than taking the train or car alone, we target people who are price sensitive. They will also be willing to meet and share moments with other people, maybe even build relationship prior to the event. Our main target will therefore be young people, mostly alone or in a small group of friends.
What? How?
This service will take the form of an online platform. It will allow festival goers to sign up and look for a cars going from where they live to the festival and others to post a listing offering their free car seats.
Our platorfm will be direclty linked from the festivals ticketing websites, allowing people to find a way to get to the festival right after having bought their ticket.
Our mood board for Festipool
Our main competitors are car-sharing platforms, even thought they are less specialised, and social networks, particularly groups of concert and festival goers who are used to organise themselves to go to and from the events.
